These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Back2Mean platform ("Back2Mean", "Service"), operated by oneninetynine labs, a sole proprietorship based in Germany ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using Back2Mean, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
Back2Mean is a software platform that provides:
• trading signals based on data-driven strategies
• risk parameter calculations
• trade execution tools via third-party brokerage platforms
Back2Mean does not:
• provide investment advice
• provide portfolio management
• provide discretionary trading services
• act as a broker or custodian
All trading decisions remain solely with you.
You may use Back2Mean only if:
• you are at least 18 years old
• you are legally permitted to trade in your jurisdiction
• you reside in a country supported by Alpaca Markets or any other connected brokerage provider
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
To use Back2Mean, you must create an account.
You are responsible for:
• maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• all activity that occurs under your account
Back2Mean requires you to connect your own brokerage account (e.g. Alpaca).
Back2Mean never holds client funds and does not have custody of assets.
Back2Mean is not a broker-dealer.
All trade execution is performed through third-party brokerage platforms, including Alpaca Markets, under their respective terms, conditions, and regulatory frameworks.
Back2Mean is not responsible for:
• order execution quality
• brokerage outages or errors
• delays, slippage, or rejected orders
You acknowledge that brokerage services are provided independently from Back2Mean.
Back2Mean is offered on a monthly subscription basis.
• All plans start with a commitment-free 7-day free trial
• After the trial period, you can choose a subscription to move forward or delete your account
• Billing is handled by Paddle
• Prices are displayed in your local currency
You authorize Paddle to charge your selected payment method according to your chosen plan.
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You will retain access until the end of the paid period
• No refunds are issued for partially used billing periods
Trading involves significant risk and may result in losses.
Back2Mean:
• does not guarantee profits or performance
• does not guarantee accuracy of signals
• does not guarantee that losses can be avoided
Past performance does not guarantee future results.
You acknowledge that:
• you are solely responsible for all trading decisions
• you bear full responsibility for gains and losses
• Back2Mean is provided as a decision-support tool only
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Back2Mean shall not be liable for:
• trading losses
• missed opportunities
• indirect or consequential damages
• data loss
• service interruptions
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
We may:
• perform maintenance
• update or modify features
• temporarily suspend access
We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime, maintenance, or technical issues.
You may not:
• misuse the platform
• attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
• interfere with system integrity or security
• use the Service for illegal activities
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access:
• for violations of these Terms
• for misuse or abuse
• for legal or regulatory reasons
Termination may occur without prior notice where required by law or security concerns.
All content, software, and trademarks related to Back2Mean are owned by oneninetynine labs or its licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the Service without prior written permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these Terms is Darmstadt, Germany.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of Back2Mean constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
